How does this work?
Once you have booked, I will send you a questionnaire. This helps you to think through what you want to get out of your session. I ask about your brand, your colours, what you will wear, hair & make up, jewellery and props. Once you have filled out your questionnaire I will then contact you, so that we can go through your answers together. We can work out where will be the best locations for your shoot. Other things that we will discuss include the feel and mood that you want to convey and how you will use your images. Don’t worry I will walk you through the whole thing and you can ask questions at any point.
How long is the session?
From 20 minutes for a headshot up to 3 hours for personal branding shoots – all depending on what you need.
Do I need to bring anything to the session?
For a headshot it can be useful to have your hairbrush and a small mirror. Ladies you might want to bring lipstick as well.

For a personal branding session, I would suggest that you have the tools of your trade; whether that is your laptop or your products. We want to personalise your photos so anything that will help, for example your business stationery or any branded merchandise. We will discuss this beforehand so don’t worry.

What should I wear?
Again we will cover this in the phone consultation before your session. But to give you an idea:

  • Clothes that make you feel comfortable will make you look and feel confident.
  • What about wearing colours that are part of your brand? Or at least that co-ordinate with your brand colours.
  • Layers are king. Just adding a jacket can totally change the look.
  • Accessories are super important too – anything from hats, to jewellery to footware.

For branding sessions I suggest that we have several different outfits to give you greater variety in your images.

Can you organise hair and make up?
Yes I have secured the services of a professional company, who are highly recommended. Please let me know as soon as possible and I will book this for you at an additional cost of £90
How much does the session cost?
Personal branding sessions start at £199 and headshots are £75 for one digital image. For two people having consecutive headshots the price is £50 each. For companies needing team headshots, please email me for a bespoke quote.
I hate being in front of the camera - help!
Please don’t worry almost everyone says this and I totally understand because I feel the same way. However I will talk you through the session and help you with poses. I promise not to make you do anything that feels uncomfortable. And all my clients end up enjoying themselves – really!
