Frimley Hall Hotel
Frimley Hall Hotel is situated up a leafy lane, just off the Portsmouth Road in Camberley. This beautiful Victorian listed manor house was the setting for the wedding of Scott and Siobhan. And what a fantastic Surrey wedding venue it is. Secluded, with beautiful gardens and retaining so much of its historic period features, yet conveniently close to the motorways and other transport links. And of course there is the added bonus of 98 bedrooms and the spa and swimming pool – so guests can make a weekend of it too. This beautiful hotel holds a special place in the heart of this family and it is the same venue that Scott’s sister had her wedding reception only a few years earlier.
Siobhan got ready with her Nan and bridesmaids at home. Her stunning hair and make up was done by Michelle. Siobhan was helped in to her beautiful diamante and tulle wedding dress by her bridesmaids, who wore white gloves to ensure that the dress remained pristine.
Meanwhile my second shooter, Bridget, was photographing the men as they made preparations and then the guests as they arrived at the church.
The church was chosen because of it’s special significance to the family; Scott’s Mum & Dad were married here, as were his sister & her husband. Phil the vicar at St Andrews was very welcoming to us all. The best man was Scott’s brother and he had fun taking selfies as Siobhan walked down the aisle. Following the ceremony, we took some confetti shots and group photos by the lych gate and then it was time to go to Frimley Hall for the reception. But not before Scott and Siobhan had re-enacted Titanic in the Jaguar Royale Drophead convertible…
Group photos were taken in the stunning gardens of the hotel, whilst guests enjoyed canapés and drinks on the terrace. We also had time to whisk the happy couple up to the beautiful bridal suite to take some photos.
The wedding breakfast was held in the Frimley Suite. Scott and Siobhan surprised their guests with copies of Wedition which is a personalised wedding magazine. The back cover was the wedding breakfast menu and inside there were features on everything from the wedding party to their cats.
After the meal we took Scott and Siobhan into the gardens again to get some golden hour photos.
The evening brought more guests to enjoy the party and whilst the disco was happening, we were able to sneak Scott and Siobhan outside the front door for a couple of evening photos that they had requested.
A truly fantastic day, full of laughter and love – thank you so much for choosing me to document your story xx
