As a bride said to me when you see Cain Manor it’s love at first sight. It’s a unique venue, set down a long, long drive on a hill. The building retains all of its original Elizabethan charm yet it’s been sympathetically renovated inside. And the grounds are huge, so you can always find a quiet corner for your couple photos.

The House
Built in the late sixteenth century and originally named the Land of Nod by Mr Cain the owner. A timber framed building with leaded windows and original beams. It’s a real slice of history that has been beautifully modernised yet retains its historic charm. There’s a real feeling of cosiness when you come through the front door and into the Library. There are comfortable sofas and quiet corners to relax in and enjoy the views out of the windows onto the gardens. And of course a roaring fire in the winter. There are 11 bedrooms in total (including a family room), and the beautiful Cain Suite for you with its four poster bed and free standing tub.

Exclusive Use
Cain manor hosts only one wedding per day, so you’ll have exclusive use of the venue for your wedding day. The maximum number of guests for your ceremony and wedding breakfast is 123. In the evening you can round that up to 200 people for your celebrations and dancing. There is a minimum guest requirement which changes depending on the season and day of the week. Please contact the venue to double check these numbers when booking.

Ceremony Spaces
There are two gorgeous ceremony spaces at Cain Manor. There’s the Music Room with it’s floor to ceiling windows, oak beams and Minstrel’s gallery. And then there’s the outside option, overlooking the meadow and with the pergola as your grand entrance.

Dog Friendly Venue
Are you like me a crazy dog owner? Want to have the dog as part of your big day? You definitely can at Cain Manor, both indoors and outside. Whether you want your doggo as the ring bearer or just to have some photos with them after the ceremony, just speak to the team.

Location
Cain Manor is only 15 minutes from Farnham train station. It’s close to the A3 and then the M25 motorway. Both Gatwick and Heathrow airports are about an hour’s drive – great for any international visitors you might have.
