What Couples Say
“Mercedes was incredible throughout, we couldn’t be happier that she was part of our special day!
Mercedes was on hand for all our questions in the run up to the day, and was so helpful in assisting with the structure and timings of the day. Mercedes was instrumental in ensuring our day ran smoothly (and she even had back up plans for all weather conditions), she’s organised, professional and so knowledgeable.
Her calming presence put us, and our guests, at ease, and she captured so many beautiful moments, memories to last a lifetime!
Thank you so much Mercedes, you truly are one in a million, would highly recommend for anyone planning their wedding!”
Frequently Asked Questions
How much does wedding photography at Cain Manor cost?
My wedding photography at Cain Manor is £1,800 for 10 hours of coverage, and couples receive a minimum of 500 photos for a full day’s photography. If you need less coverage than that, just get in touch and I’ll be happy to talk through the options with you.
How soon will I get my wedding photos?
You’ll get 10 to 20 sneak peeks within 72 hours of your wedding, so you’re not waiting long to relive the day. Your full gallery follows within 4 to 6 weeks, delivered through a private online gallery that you can download from and share with friends and family.
Do you work with a second shooter?
I do bring a second shooter to most weddings, though it isn’t always the same person. Whoever joins me is always a seasoned professional running their own photography business, never a student or someone just starting out, so you can be confident in the quality of every shot.
Do you offer wedding videography?
I don’t currently offer a highlights film myself, as filming and photographing a wedding at the same time isn’t something I feel does justice to either. I do work with a number of trusted videographers though, and I’m always happy to recommend one if you’d like video coverage alongside your photography.
Can my wedding guests see the photos too?
Yes, if you’re happy to share it, your online gallery can be made accessible to your guests as well as you. There’s also a print shop attached to the gallery, so anyone who falls in love with a photo can order prints directly.

Helpful staff
The wonderful Cain Manor team will make sure that your wedding day runs exactly as you planned. The in-house kitchen team use fresh local produce for both the canapés and the wedding breakfast menu. Your guests will be warmly welcomed as soon as they come through the front door. Of course you can have the whole day here, from getting ready to ceremony to wedding breakfast and then your evening party. This can take away concerns about the logistics of travelling between venues. But if you a church ceremony there is plenty of choice locally, including St John’s in Churt and St Joseph’s in Grayshott.
Getting ready
There is the tucked away light and airy getting ready room. With 3 make up stations and plenty of space for your bridal party. This is available from 9am. You can then actually get into your dress and do final preparations in the beautiful Cain suite in the main house.
The gardens
The gardens face south and overlook the Downs. There is a formal garden, with herbaceous beds, which is great for enjoying the terrace and playing garden games. There is plenty of shade, including a lovely rose covered archway, if the weather is really hot. Further from the house is a huge wild garden with long grass and paths – it’s really good for photos particularly during golden hour. When you enter the drive you are taken down into a lush green valley, which again would be fantastic for your couple photos. And if it’s been wet and you don’t want to go on the grass then the drive is perfect for photos.
Guest accommodation
Guest accommodation on site is such an added bonus. At Cain Manor there are a total of eleven bedrooms, including the delightful Cain Suite. With diamond lattice windows, beams and plenty of character the honeymoon suite is beautiful yet comfortable with its roll top bath and four poster bed.

My wedding photography style is natural and focuses on creating photos that tell your wedding story in an authentic and timeless way. I can be with you on your wedding day from bridal preparation right through to your first dance and the party.
