5 reasons to have a Millbridge Court Wedding

It is easy to see why you would fall in love with Millbridge Court for your wedding venue. But in case you need any persuasion, here are 5 reasons to choose this lovely setting on the Surrey/Hampshire border for your Big Day.

The House

Millbridge Court is a pretty unique venue in the area – a restored 19th century house that has been remodelled with floor-to-ceiling windows in the barn style halls at the back of the building. On entering the front door you get a real feeling of elegant cosiness. The lounge has plenty of sofas and quiet corners, walk down the corridor and suddenly everything opens up with it’s super high ceilings and solid wood beams. And because of those huge windows it feels like the gardens are just an extension of the space, that draw you outside to explore further.

Exclusive Use

Millbridge Court only hosts one wedding a day, so you have exclusive use of the property for your wedding day. The maximum number of people for your ceremony and wedding breakfast is 150, and you can have a further 50 guests for your evening reception. There are also minimum guest numbers, which are dependant on day and time of the year; as few as 50 Monday-Thursday & Sundays from November to March, this rises to 90 on Saturdays from April to October. Please double check with the venue when booking.

Accommodation

It can be a deal breaker for many couples. Your guests are travelling from afar or they want to be able to have a few drinks without the hassle of getting taxis. And Millbridge Court has nine rooms, including the Hideaway and the Lodge. In fact these rooms are solely for the use of wedding guests and cannot be hired out to the general public. They are part of your wedding booking. Happy days! And the rooms are, as you’d expect because it’s Millbridge, impeccably decorated and comfortable.

The Food

Everyone raves about the food here at Millbridge Court and deservedly so. The caterers are Kalm Kitchen. Everything is not just deliciously yummy but it looks amazing too. If you’re serious foodies then this should sway you…

Location

Finally Millbridge Court is located in the pretty little village of Frensham, only 10 minutes from Farnham town centre and its train station. Also the venue is conveniently close to the A3, M25 and Heathrow, great for any international guests. Add to this that London is just over an hour away by car. And if you decide to drive to the wedding there is plenty of parking for everyone.
