A Sunny June Wedding at Hampton Court Golf Club

Another lovely wedding at Hampton Court Golf Club, with fabulous warm June sunshine. And the added bonus of seeing the deer grazing around the Long Water.

Getting ready

I didn’t have a second photographer for the wedding. But the groom was getting ready only 5 minutes away from bridal prep, so I spent 30 minutes with him and the family first.

Then it was off to bridal prep, where make up and hair was in full flow. I like to start with photographing details, whilst everyone gets used to me being there with my cameras.

Mum helped her into her dress upstairs. And I suggested a teaspoon to help with tiny buttons as they didn’t have a crochet hook.

After a first look with stepdad and brother, there was time for make up touch ups before leaving to go to the Register office in Weybridge.

The Ceremony

As usual the groom arrived first and chatted to the waiting guests before going in for his interview with the registrars.

Whilst he was in his interview, the bride arrived.

The bride walked down the aisle with her father and there were several people with wet eyes!

Confetti & Group Photos

Then it was out into the sunshine for confetti and lots of group photos in the garden.

Hampton Court Golf Club

A short drive to the golf club and I nipped inside to photograph the details of the wedding breakfast in the Longwater Suite.

Then straight out in the golf buggies to do the couple portraits before the wedding breakfast.

The Wedding Breakfast

The speeches came before the wedding breakfast and were so emotional. There really wasn’t a dry eye in the room.

The couple very sensibly had the cake as their dessert.

Evening

In the evening there was time to do ten minutes of golden hour photos for the couple. Then with no first dance by the couple, it was time for everyone to pile onto the dance floor.
