An Intimate November Wedding at Hampton Court Golf Club

Bride and groom walking hand in hand through an avenue of trees

This wedding at Hampton Court Golf Club was just a two hour booking for me. The couple kept things simple and relaxed, surrounded by close family and friends. I arrived thirty minutes before the ceremony to capture the groom, the guests, and the decorated ceremony room.

Before the Ceremony

The ceremony room looked beautiful in soft autumn tones. Fresh flowers lined the aisle, and warm light filled the space. I did a couple of photos of the groom and his best man in the window light on the stairs.

The Ceremony

The bride arrived by car, bouquet in hand, ready for the day ahead. Her two sons walked her down the aisle together, a touching start to the ceremony. The couple said their vows, exchanged rings, and shared their first kiss as newlyweds. Afterwards, they signed the register before walking back down the aisle, hand in hand, to applause from their guests. The couple chose not to have confetti or bubbles, so they kept the moment simple and true to themselves.

Portraits Around the Grounds

Straight after the ceremony, the couple shared a quiet embrace by the window. Then they hopped onto the golf buggies for portraits, since the light was already starting to fade. We made sure to take their champagne with us for the photos. They paused by the Long Water for a toast with champagne, then wandered into the avenue of trees for romantic portraits among the autumn leaves.

Family and Friends

Back at the clubhouse, everyone gathered on the lawn for a group photo. Guests laughed and chatted as they found their places, creating a warm, natural atmosphere before heading inside.

A Few Reception Details

Guests mingled downstairs in the Wolsey Room with drinks in hand. Upstairs in the Longwater Suite, the wedding breakfast room stood ready. Round tables glowed under strings of fairy lights, and a beautifully decorated cake waited to be cut. With everything set, it was time to leave the couple to enjoy the rest of the celebration with their nearest and dearest.
