For lots of people wedding photography can be a bit nerve-wracking, hence why I suggest a pre wedding photo shoot. It’s a great opportunity to celebrate your engagement and couples are always glad that they have had a practise photo session. Everyone enjoys it and you get some lovely photos!
I have known Issy’s mum for years, so I was delighted when Issy got in touch about her wedding photography. And what better place to choose for their engagement photo session than Swinley Forest, right behind St Anne’s Church in Bagshot. There are miles and miles of woods, beautiful areas of long grass and the stunning Rapley Lake.
We chose a beautiful Summer’s evening about an hour before sunset, so that the light would be really golden and soft. Tom & Issy wore complementary outfits, making the focus totally on them.
Mostly I like to photograph my couples just hanging out with each other but I do make sure that I take some photos looking straight into camera and a couple of each of you on your own.
And I will often add a black and white for variety to your set of images.
Congratulations to Tom & Issy, I’m really looking forward to photographing your Autumn wedding at Bury Court Barn.
