Once you come through the gate, you see this imposing Victorian country house. Of course the facade hasn’t changed since it was built in 1882. Likewise when you enter the front door you see the original imposing oak staircase. And the amazing interior period features continue throughout the building.

From the Wisteria on the facade of the building, that flowers in May and June, to the rolling lawn, there’s lots for your guests to enjoy as they sip champagne. And there is plenty of space for you to set up some garden games to keep people occupied. The hotel is flanked by a topiary garden at the entrance and pots bursting with colour on the steps. In addition there is a lovely quiet drive to the left of the building that is good for photographs, especially in the late afternoon and early evening sunshine.
