The Venue
Herons Farm is a stunning farmhouse wedding venue near Reading, Berkshire, and one of my favourite places to photograph a wedding day. If you’re getting married here, you’ve chosen a venue with real character, from an intimate getting-ready space to a ceremony setting surrounded by countryside.
The upstairs Willow Room makes a homely, light-filled space for getting ready, and I love capturing the quiet moments there before the day begins. There are numerous options for your ceremony. Including on the lawn under the pavilion. This is particularly pretty, especially in late spring/ early summer when the wisteria is in full bloom. Other options include the Main Barn (also used to host the wedding breakfast and evening party), the Walled Garden, the Yellow Barn and Herons Hall. The latter being a more intimate space that can host up to 45 guests.
My favourite spot at Herons Farm for couple portraits is the Gallops, a stretch of countryside on the venue with wooden fences, long grass and cow parsley running through it. It gives us the freedom to get some genuinely beautiful, natural photographs away from the main event, just the two of you.
As your Herons Farm wedding photographer, I’ll be there from getting ready through to the final dance, capturing every part of your day naturally and without posed, stiff photographs.
Great Location
The venue sits in the Berkshire countryside, just near Pangbourne. It’s within easy reach of the M4 and a short drive from Reading, making it a straightforward journey for you and your guests whether they are travelling from London or further afield. There is plenty of free on-site parking available for the day.

How much does wedding photography at Herons Farm cost?
My wedding photography at Herons Farm is £1,800 for 10 hours of coverage, and couples receive a minimum of 500 photos for a full day’s photography. If you need less coverage than that, just get in touch and I’ll be happy to talk through the options with you.
How soon will I get my wedding photos?
You’ll get 10 to 20 sneak peeks within 72 hours of your wedding, so you’re not waiting long to relive the day. Your full gallery follows within 4 to 6 weeks, delivered through a private online gallery that you can download from and share with friends and family.
Do you work with a second shooter?
I can bring a second shooter to your wedding, for full-day coverage. It’s not always the same person, but it’s always an experienced, seasoned professional.
Do you offer wedding videography?
I don’t offer videography myself, but I’m happy to refer you to trusted videographers I’ve worked with before.
Can our guests access the photos too?
Yes, if you’re happy to share it, your online gallery can be made accessible to your guests as well as you. There’s also a print shop attached to the gallery, so anyone who falls in love with a photo can order prints directly.

I love capturing lots of wedding guest and couple reactions with candid photography.
