We were so fortunate with the weather for this late September Berkshire wedding, since we were outside all day until early evening. I photographed for Annabel Farley photography and we met up at the little gem that is St Leonards church in Woodcote for the ceremony. Stacy, our radiant bride, arrived by tractor drawn trailer, the bunting fluttered in the wind and the cars stopped to watch. This was such a special family day; not only was it a wedding but their two children were also baptised during the service. Family had flown in from across the world – several of the bridesmaids had come all the way from Australia – and it was quite a party. At the couple’s request we did the group photos at the church. Then drove twenty minutes to the reception which was held at Badgemore Park. The wedding breakfast was held on their beautifully decorated outdoor patio, followed by the speeches. I don’t know who made the cake but it was a splendid affair of sponge, cream and fruit – it looked amazing. We were able to do couple shots around the gardens and walkways near the green, before everyone sat down to eat. We stayed to photograph the first dance, then left everyone to party the night away.
Thank you and congratulations to Mark and Stacy.
